Memotech MTX512 boxed
with manual and PSU - WORKING
Very rare and
desirable Memotech MTX512 with a box, polystyrene
inserts, power supply, manual and aerial cable.
Powers on and all keys work. Seems to be fully
functional, but I don't know enough about it to give
it a proper test. The box is quite tatty but the
polys are in good condition. The cables have the
usual whiteness on them. The manual is a bit dog
eared and has some pen in it, but no tears. The
power supply on these is very exotic and very
difficult to find, so this adds to the rarity.

lovely condition, tested and working boxed with 10
games
The computer is in lovely condition,
comes in its poly inserts with the power supply,
cassette cables, RF cable and 10 games. The computer
is in fully working order, I have left it on for 2
hours and it works flawlessly, please see pictures
of it working on our LCD tv. The keyboard ribbon
cable has been replaced with a dupont cable, which
works perfectly. Comes with 10 games on cassette and
a memotech branded head cleaner which came with the
computer from new.

MEMOTECH MTX512 &
DMX80 HOME COMPUTER & PRINTER, MINT CONDITION,
BOXED, WORKING
This is my Memotech MTX512
vintage 1980s home computer and matching Memotech
DMX80 printer, which I've had in my collection for
the past couple of years or so. Both come in their
original cardboard boxes complete with polystyrene
inserts, which are in very good to excellent
condition. The condition of the computer and printer
themselves are absolutely outstanding. There is not
a mark on either, and it's as if they were bought
brand new only recently. These are easily of museum
quality and would be a superb addition for any
retro/vintage collector - I promise you will not be
disappointed! As far as I can tell they are both in
fully working condition. I have connected the
computer up to my TV and written a small BASIC
program on the computer (as you can see in the
photos). I have also switched the printer on and
checked that the feed buttons work properly, and
they do. I also inserted a piece of paper and this
was detected and partially loaded by the printer. No
other testing was able to be done, but I have
absolutely no reason to think that the computer and
printer would not work exactly as they should. The
computer comes with it's original (fully working)
power supply, operator's manual, BrunWord word
processor and DataFile database software on
cassette, UHF TV aerial cable, cassette recorder
cable, and five original game cassettes for the MTX
- Toado, Chess, Draughts, Pothole Pete, and
Astromilon. All of these accessories are in really
excellent condition. .

Supplied with original packaging, Memotech PSU,
MTX Basic Tutor, Reference and Operator's Manual,
Cassette tape lead, TV UHF lead, Memotech MTX
Demonstration Tape, MTX branded C15 tape, MTX
branded tape head cleaner, MTX Utilities, MTX
Graphic Generator and a copy of Toado by Continental
Software. As far as I know, that's everything it was
originally shipped with, so it is a complete
package. Condition is stunning. It has barely a mark
on it and looks as new. It even has the original
expansion port cover which you can see in one of the
pictures (these are often lost). Please check the
pictures for confirmation and let me know if you
need to see any other angles. It's really beautiful,
being made of extruded aluminium, anodised black. Of
course, it is working fully, and the pictures show
it running a small program in BASIC and Toado (to
show that tape loading works). I've packaged it in
its original box in a cling film wrap then a thick
plastic bag in order to protect the pristine finish
of the case. It really is museum quality, and would
be a fantastic addition to any retrocomputing
collection.

Memotech MTX 500 - lovely condition, tested and
working. Condition is used but is in superb
condition for age. The black anodised aluminium case
is close to original condition, with very little
wear.
Comes with original power supply,
cassette leads, RF aerial lead, and 2 games on
cassette - Blobbo (pacman style game), and Alice in
Wonderland - an adventure game.
The computer
is tested and working using the RF aerial lead,
although to be fair the picture quality does vary
depending what sort of TV you are using it with, so
only fair to mention this. All keys are tested and
working, also in the package is the plastic cover
for the expansion slot on the end of the unit. The
computer and other related parts all come packed in
the bottom of the original polystyrene packaging -
there is no top poly, no cardboard box, and no
instructions (easily found on the www).

Memotech MTX 500 -
tested and working perfectly apart from function
keys
The item is in fair condition, the
keyboard is in very good condition with all keys
(apart from the 8 function keys) working perfectly -
the keyboard is a quality item and lovely to type on
- the anodised case is looking a little worn with
age although it is not dented, just a few minor
marks and scratches, and general age related
degradation (see photos for full condition). All
screws in the case ends are present and correct. I
have stripped down and reassembled the unit and
cleaned inside and out. I have put 4 homemade rubber
feet on the base of the unit (double sided taped),
which can be easily removed if desired. The unit
gives a good picture on my LED TV (see photos) via
the included RF aerial lead once tuned in, and the
power supply is in good condition with the
illuminated switch on the side working as it
should. You are buying the Memotech MTX 500
console, original power supply, RF TV lead, Maxima
game on cassette, and cassette leads which I used to
successully load the included MTX program MAXIMA.

After digging it out the loft
the TV signal seems to be weak-ignore the stripes in
the photos that was my camera. The keys all work but
some seem a little stiff, It is missing a screw from
one end, still boxed although box has some writing
on it, still has its original shipping carton and
comes with manual. Will put a tape lead in box but I
don't think it's the original. Connected the
computer to my TV via the monitor output-picture is
spot on- I will leave the adaptor with computer so
you can connect to AV socket on your TV, although
you will need a lead to connect the sound to your
TV. Computer is in good cosmetic condition, there is
a scratch on back which is shown in pictures, Polly
box looks like it's been poked quite a few times,
have a look at the pictures

much about this as I found it in a loft on an empty
property I was refurbishing. It powers up but I

It comes in polystyrene box with leads,
